Security shaped for media sharing

Network security infrastructure
The Wiredrive platform is software as a service (SaaS) delivered through the Internet. The above diagram describes how your data is accessed from and protected within our network.
Network security architecture
- No third-party hosting providers or shared hardware: We own and maintain all our servers and network hardware, which gives us total control over security and performance
- Servers sit behind robust multi-layered firewall technology to prevent unauthorized access to network
- Our data center has simultaneous access to multiple ISPs, which enables connection redundancy and high performance
- Encryption for all internal operations traffic (HTTPS, SFTP, SSH)
- 24/7 intrusion detection and monitoring of all traffic
Application security
- 256-bit AES SSL encryption
- Time-based token authentication added to all CDN asset and thumbnail URLs
- Browser cookies only store the user’s session ID and UI preferences
- You assign users an access level to limit their access to files and functions
- External links to files, projects and presentations use unique, randomly generated URLs
- You can expire or remove existing links at any time
- You can password-protect some presentations
- All file downloads are tracked and logged
- All passwords are encrypted and inaccessible to Wiredrive employees
- All search engine indexing is blocked
Physical security
- SAS 70 Type II certified primary and backup data centers
- Automatic off-site backup
- Redundant power connections with UPS and generator backup for continuous operation
- 24/7 guarded facility
- 24/7 video monitoring
- Physical access limited to trusted employees with biometric validation
Completed security audits
- British Telecom security and vulnerability audit – January 2011
- Cisco security audit – December 2010
- MPAA security audit – November 2010
