Zoic Gives NASCAR Photo-realistic CG Makeover

Zoic Studios recently finished a new spot, titled Dominoes, for ESPN’s NASCAR Nationwide Series campaign. Dominoes is interesting because it represents the advancement of photo-realistic CG as a medium. What used to be a big budget feature film technique (read: Avatar, Beowulf, etc.) is hitting the small screen to promote one of America’s favorite spectator sports. It also looks great. Zoic and agency Wieden and Kennedy were able to create a hyper-real environment that conveys NASCAR’s fast and unpredictable action. Kudos to Zoic for a job well-done.
